Victor Muller (Den Helder, 1976) is a young artist with an already impressive oeuvre.
With his work he summons a world he would prefer to live in, a place where silence, the eternity of the moment and an escape from hectic daily life are keywords. Timelessness is crucial in his work. He combines his landscapes with still lives on the foreground with objects which have an ancient appearance. He creates a timeless atmosphere by combining his still lives and landscapes. The artist himself: 'This atmosphere is very important for me, the idea that the landscape has no movement, no sun, no wind, no rain, no time, just an everlasting constant.'
Victor Muller graduated at the Willem de KooningAcadamy in Rotterdam and has been working as a painter eversince. His work can be found in several private and public collections, both national and international.
